Job description
Areas of Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including preparation and maintenance of a full set of accounts.
2. Oversee monthly closing activities, group consolidation, and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
3. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant regulatory authorities to ensure timely submission of statutory reports, including preparation of tax computations and CP204 tax estimates.
4. Continuously review and improve accounting systems, internal controls, and financial policies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
5. Prepare monthly financial forecasts and participate in the development of the companyโs annual budgeting process.
6. Monitor and manage company cash flow and liquidity position; support strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency.
7. Collaborate closely with subsidiaries to ensure timely submission of financial reports and reporting packages, ensuring alignment with group reporting standards.
8. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly, half-yearly, and year-end closing processes.
9. Maintain full compliance with relevant financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal corporate governance policies.
Qualification:
1. Bachelorโs degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
3. Minimum of 7 years of finance management experience, with 5 years in a managerial role.
4. Thorough knowledge of RBA standards and ethical financial practices.
5. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
6. Proficiency in financial software and systems.
7. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
8. Ability to handle financial audits and assessments.
